Eddie in the movie gladiator

so someone is trying to tell me that Ed had a part in gladiator...and i keep telling this person that he didnt.

He doesnt believe me and keeps sayn that he knows everything about the band lol

im pretty sure im correct that he wasnt in the movie at all. Anyone know anything about this?
