thats like picking a favorite child. We are all on this board because of our love of PJ, but for me, hands down the most important band in history is The Beatles. They are just on another level.
a favorite album is easier. The White Album is flawless.
While My Guitar Gently Weeps or Across The Universe
“Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you’ve got about a hundred years here. There’s only one rule that I know of, babies — ‘God damn it, you’ve got to be kind.’” - Kurt Vonnegut
I Want You (She's So Heavy)
or
Nowhere Man (I always find myself playing this one solo on acoustic for whatever reason, so it must be one of my favorites. I just love to sing it.)
Mine.....Strawberry Fields Forever
My 2 1/2 year old's....cannot get enough of Octopus' Garden, every time we get into the car, "play the octopus song daddy."
Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...
... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.
the night before, taxman, and your bird can sing, tomorrow never knows, within you without you, flying, glass onion, rain...
standin above the crowd
he had a voice that was strong and loud and
i swallowed his facade cos i'm so
eager to identify with
someone above the crowd
someone who seemed to feel the same
someone prepared to lead the way
It's certainly a great song off my favorite Beatles album. Choosing a favorite off that album is very tough though. Happiness is a Warm Gun, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Back in the USSR, Helter Skelter.......so many classics.

All the world will be your enemy, Prince with a thousand enemies, and whenever they catch you, they will kill you. But first they must catch you, digger, listener, runner, prince with the swift warning. Be cunning and full of tricks and your people shall never be destroyed.
