I dig Tom's early solos there was nothing out there that sounded like it but by the time he joined Audioslave he kinda became a parody of himself imo.

I can see why a lot of people see Morello's "effects" solos as cliched at this point, but when Bulls On Parade first came out, it was pretty mindblowing. I put it on my list because I think it was truly innovative at the time.
