I don't think those numbers are too impressive - for the record, Pearl Jam's self titled sold 279,564 in the first week which isn't totally far off Nickelback's numbers. Pretty impressive considering Pearl Jam is nowhere near as popular as Nickelback at the moment.

Mind you, it might end up staying in the charts for 4395345 weeks again.
  • I saw a copy at my local record store, the record company have put the label "11 Classic New Songs" on the album. Seemed like a contradiction in terms to me, how can they be classic and new at the same time?

I guess that by '11 classic new songs' they meant 11 songs by Nickelback which sound a little bit like classic's other bands wrote and they are ripping off. That band suck tailpipe.
we're all going to the same place...

Yeah it sure does suck. PJ has so many diverse songs that stretch the spectrum. Yet Nickelback uses the same beat and rhythm for every song, change the lyrics, and people eat it up. Death to Nickelback!

I actually thought that song was pretty cool...

The new album really isn't that bad... especially with songs like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MDrjcv6fTxA

Lyrics ain't the best though, like usual lol
