I'm almost afraid to ask this, but are there any Train fans on here? I really liked Train espically " Drops of Jupiter " album, full of really good tunes. I realize they have some pretty bad songs like " Calling All angels" but most of their songs that are not singles are really good.
Who cares if the world is going down the toilet? Eddie Vedder got his mojo back!

I am a huge Train fan! Their CDs are incredible and they are awesome live! They are probably the only other band that I've seen just about as many times as Pearl Jam!

  • I'm a big Train fan; have been since the first album. Flamers stay away. :) And their new album is out now!!! I'm planning to go pick it up tonight, matter of fact.

I really enjoy their music when I'm in a more mellow mood, and the lyrics make me smile.

  • They're a guilty pleasure of mine as well.

  • also a band i somewhat shamefully enjoy. saw them once and they put on a hell of a show. the new album is tons better than the last one, but still doesn't measure up to drops of jupiter and the s/t, IMO. wouldn't mind seeing them live again though.
  • I don't know what's shameful about liking them? Is it because they make videos? They've stayed pretty true to their sound since Meet Virginia. I didn't really care for that song but, they've gotten a lot better since. Cab is a cool song.

So would the YFC council be upset if I went to see Train for free at the IA state fair in August? :)
No longer overwhelmed it seems so simple now.
