I know its a little depressing but I am sure some of you have thought about this.

What Pearl Jam song would you like to be played at your funeral?

Mine is Driftn, for sure. I think it would help ease my friends and families suffering a bit.

Already thought about this one - the one that will be played at mine is *Release* Thought it would be a good way to leave this world . . . maybe put my family at ease during the process . . .

Mine is "Release," too. It is beautiful, and it's one of my favorite PJ songs, too. I should actually put this in my will...

For me it's gotta be either Release or Guaranteed. but I'm 26 now so hopefully I have a lot of time left. Those songs will be like 70 years old when I die. Like having a Edith Piaf song played at someones funeral now.
He who forgets will be destined to remember.

For my funeral...Man of the Hour...kind of a song you leave for others to play for you.

Long Road, I feel, is more of a song I would play for someone else's funeral, like my wife.

good story....... back in 2000 when pearl jam played jones beach (wantugh new york they played three shows back to back...me and five friends went to everyone. tailgated are asses off..on the way home from the last show i drove passed a funeral home one of my friends yells at me to pull the car over so i do. he gets out and yells at the top of his lungs "PEARL JAM WAKES THE DEAD" for no reason... thought i would share that lil side track of a story...

as for a good song to play at a funeral. IN MY WILL it is stated that MAN OF THE HOUR (DEMO) has to be played.. my best friend has to make copies of it and give it to everyone for the drive to the cemitery..........ALSO on my head stone it will say " PEARL JAM WAKES THE DEAD...J.C." and im not jokin its writen in my will did it last year..

(i'm not ) Alive. have the boys play a "slightly" different version. You know how Ed likes to ad-lib!or dead man walking

seriously I am not really sure if I would want to make a statement about who I thought I was or try to ease the hearts of those who chose to love me.

seems to me though that Strangest Tribe fits the bill both ways
