What are some good REM tunes to get for someone who is just getting into them?

    I'm sure you know the hits so here are a few less polular songs I like. It really matters what you like though.
    Off of Murmur: Shaking Through and sitting still
    i think wolves, lower off chronic town (the '82 ep) is great, lots of energy.
    So. Central Rain off Reakoning
    Driver 8 and Life and how to live it off Fables..
    Cayahuga (sp ?) and the flowers of Guatemala of Lifes rich..
    Disturbance at the Heran House off Document
    Montey's Got a Raw Deal off Automatic
    "How the West Was Won and where it got us" and New test lepper and ebow the letter off New Adventures
    Walk Unafraid and Falls to Climb off Up

    Agreed. For the casual fan this is more than enough to get started. These two albums really do cover basically their entire career and most of their best songs. Get these two and you'll be set.
