I thought about this reading the Pushit/Grudge thread.

One of my favorite Perfect Circle songs is 3 Libras.
I could listen to it over and over. Anyone else?
Anyone have another favorite Perfect Circle song?

I've never really though of this before, but looking at what I have my three favorite tracks of theirs are either remixes or a demo... I've an acoustic demo of Orestes that is great, and the 'Constantly Consuming' mix of The Hollow and the 'All Main Courses Mix' of 3 Libras. Thos three are easily my top choices.

A live cover of "Diary of a Madman" is my favorite track by them. Have they done a studio version of that? Anybody know?

Other than that, "Blue" or "3 Libras" would be my favorites.

Its not Diary of a Madman, its Love Song by the Cure.

I am addicted to the song Vanishing lately. Cool-mostly instrumental jam.

Any new news on new APC?
I just saw yesterday that the bass player and drummer have been with NIN lately.

The Diary of a Madman cover I have heard is actually Love Song performed by APC written by The Cure. I think it's mislabeled. "Diary of a mad man" is a line from Love Song. If you are not familiar with the tune, 311 released a version that did pretty well a year or so ago.

EDIT: Upon further review, we are both half correct. THe version I have starts out word-for-word the Ozzy song, and then goes into the "Love Song" chorus. Then it slips back into the Ozzy song, back into the Cure song chorus.

I have only heard it a few times. I noticed the guitar line from Love Song and just assumed.

One of my favorite songs ever, by any band at all.
The Man has a branch office in each of our brains, his corporate emblem is a white albatross, each local rep has a cover known as the Ego, and their mission in this world is Bad Shit.

Same here I love the constantly consuming mix of the hollow with paz singin.
BTW once heard APC was supposed to have a female lead singer instead of Maynard. Anybody know anything about that?

    I adore APC! :D

My favorite songs are Magdalena, Judith, 3 Libras, and Blue, Lullaby... oh there are so many. Really both albums are awesome!

Is there a 3rd album? If so, what's it called so I can go buy it?

    Thanks!

I think their best songs are The Outsider and Passive, both incredibly powerful songs.

Here's a cool live version of The Outsider: http://youtube.com/watch?v=MlDpExWQwQY&search=a%20perfect%20circle
