"I know this song so well, I can smoke a cigarette, have a drink, brush my teeth, take a shit, and mow the lawn while singing it. But I'll only be doing a couple of those things during this version." - EV

These are the 2007 releases that I've listened to the most:

    Grady: Cup of Cold Poison
Clutch: From Beale Street To Oblivion
Chris & Rich Robinson: Brothers of A Feather
Queens of The Stone Age: Era Vulgaris
Jason Isbell: Sirens of The Ditch
    White Stripes: Icky Thump
Black Rebel Motorcylce Club: Baby 81

Also picked up Marc Ford, moe., and Chris Cornell albums, but none of them get much time in the player. Chris Cornell's disc is easily the biggest disappointment of the year.

Thought about picking up the Pumpkins and Velvet Revolver discs, but still haven't found them cheap enough yet.

I've had a pretty good track record this year.

From favorite to just plain enjoyable:
    Son Volt - The Search
    Wilco - Sky Blue Sky
The Shins - Wincing the Night Away
    Arcade Fire - Neon Bible
    The National - Boxer
    Ryan Adams - Easy Tiger
    The Avett Brothers - Emtionalism

The one mistake I've made so far this year:
Tori Amos - American Doll Posse
Not sure if it's Tori or me who has changed so drastically, but my god do I dislike this album (and the previous one).

Might as well just give Modest Mouse the album of the year right now.
