(inspired by top five bands thread)

I would say grunge/ classic rock would be my fav

others:

radiohead
portishead
bone thugs-n-harmony
david bowie (more alternative than classic, IMO)
waylon Jennings

all I can think of right now
bombs, dropping down, please forgive our hometown
