For me it is the Hooters. I think they have been unfairly lumped in there with the Bryan Adams and Thompson Twins caliber bands. I liked them the first time I heard "And We Danced" and haven't looked back. For those of you too young to remember, these guys came out in the mid 1980's. Yikes!

Well, a girl's gotta eat! Really, neither one is serious, just kind of passing time. Don't judge me though, I'm truly a nice girl!

  • 98% of my friends hate metal..and that is pretty much all I listen too!

I am turning some of them though.
  • For me, it's Soundgarden. I don't know, a lot of ppl just think that they either "have songs that are too slow," "had only one good song: Black Hole Sun," or that "Cornell has a bad voice." Yeah, and I think me saying that Cornell could easily outperform Robert Plant didn't help my case much either. But hey, I've heard just about everything Zeppelin ever did, and as much as I love Robert Plant, CHRIS CORNELL WAS THE SHIT BACK IN THE DAY!!!

  • My girlfriend hates Son Volt (or any band Jay Farrar sings in) and Ryan Adams. They're two of my favorites too. I can't think of any friends that hate anything though. Pretty much every one I know learns to at least respect artists I listen to on a regular basis.
Using the word "methinks" in your message board posts doesn't make you look smart.

Its hard to say cuz I have lots of different friends of different ages and wayyy different tastes. I was about to say Alice in Chains but then I remembered I have a teacher friend who likes them. I guess I got it pretty good lol.
I've faced it, a life wasted, and I'm never going back again.
