I read about this in the recent Rolling Stone. Wow, I just looked on Amazon and this 2cd/2dvd set is going for $47.99! You get a ton of b-sides plus several great live performances on dvd. I didn't truly get into U2 until Achtung Baby, but I will probably have to pick this up. The band is saying they'll re-release most of their backlog as Deluxe Edition packages. I'll be the first in line for Achtung Baby and Zooropa. I really can't wait.

I really like the lesser known songs from "J-Tree". Songs like :

"In God's Country","Trip Through Your Wires",and "Mothers of the

Dissappeared". I saw them during this tour. I would have to

say that it along with the "ZooTV"(Achtung)tour WAS U2 at their

peak. They will NEVER get to that "artistic" point again. NO rock

    band ever does.

Hey....I have a Joshua Tree promo mobile ...does someone want to make me an offer? Allegedly its worth between $150 and $300...but I'd let it go for some PJ vinyl....If you know someone who might be interested, send me a PM.

But wow! To re-release this awesome album! Fantastic! I LOVE "Trip through Your Wires" and "Spanish Eyes", which I think was the B-side to Where the Streets have no name...

    Thanks for posting this info!!
