Let's have some fun. I'll post some band matchups from similar genres and you say who you like better, and why.

Rush vs. Aerosmith

Rush wins hands down. Spirit of Radio, Subdivisions, YYZ, are you kidding? It's not even close.

Soundgarden vs. Nirvana

This one is almost too close to call. The easy way out is to say I love them both equally. For their entire body of work I'd give the edge to Soundgarden though. Unfortunately Nirvana's career was unnecessarily shortened. Superunknown is better than any Nirvana album (jumping on the Soundgarden bandwagon), so there you have it.

Dinosaur Jr. vs The Pixies

I've just recently started getting into the Pixies, other than their "big hits", so DJ wins. J Mascis is a guitar god, and Dinosaur Jr. was the best hard rocking band to come out of the 80's, so there you go.

Killers vs Kings of Leon

If you'd asked me a year ago I'd of said the Killers, the Kings of Leon have grown on to me the more I listen. I can't wait for their next album. They just keep getting better.
