Pete Townshend says he and Roger have completed recording of a new 11 minute mini opera to be released in June. A full CD will be released in Sept.

    Can't wait.This sounds interesting.
    Townshend has said that he has written all kinds of music.One of the problems he had was writing music which Daltrey could sing.

    Yes. He no longer has the range anymore.I really do not think it was about lyrical content.
