They WERE great for two albums, not so much since. But two great albums is still a nice accomplishment.

Oasis is not about happiness. Or getting there.

I love oasis, saw them in milwaukee on March 22 (a day after my 19th b-day, had to drive 8 hrs to see them)

    They were incredible

They only have 1 subpar album (standing on the shoulder of giants) (I love how Noel was so drunk when he wrote down the title to the album and forgot to put an s on shoulder)

    Love em' dude -

Was really into the first album, then lost interest for awhile, but someone gave me a copy of the new album - Don't believe the truth, and I think it may be one of the best albums I've ever heard, from start to finish - pretty amazing - I'm back!

You are in luck then because I heard differently.
I saw them play on a TV show and they sucked big time. Also in "Vredenburg" people were so disappointed by their behaviour and the fact that they sounded shitty that people ripped out the chairs and started throwing the sits at the band.

I have a few songs and used to own the first two albums, but their attitude is something I can't stand. I gave up on them when that third album was released.

you want to see a train wreck live go have a look at the brian jonestown massacre. neither gallagher brother has anything on anton newcombe when it comes to lack of sobriety.

  • oasis is fucking ace. one of the best moments of my life is when noel called my boy ross a "bloody wanker" when he saw ross spill 3 beers all over the people in the front row. we were in the second row directly in front of noel so he had to have seen it. this happened at the brotherly love show in chicago. btw, they blew the black crowes out of the water that day.

    Absolutely!

I saw Oasis once when I was 15 (10 years ago, when they were in their prime) and also last December at the millennium stadium. I thought I was going to be in for a bit of a disappointment but they were fanastic and mainly played older songs.
