    Yep, I'll be there. Always a both happy & sad occasion for obvious reasons. He woulda been 40 this year...amazing.

    I bought Blind Melon from BMG back in '93 because I liked No Rain...but when I heard songs like "Change" and "I Wonder" I was thoroughly impressed and surprised.

    I remember seeing footage of Shannon singing at Woodstock '94...dress and all.

    And, I remember my friend Jared (another Melon fan) telling me about his passing during our Mass Communications class in Oct '95.

    He is missed.

    What a waste.
