Shannon would have been 39 today...Show him some love.
(I went to the Vigil this weekend...such a beautiful thing to see all the fans still gathering to pay their respects & show their love/appreciation for what this beautiful man gave us.)

08/02/07 - LOLLA!!!
Saw BM supporting Lenny Kravitz in the UK in 92 or 93 and at the Reading Festival in 94 or 95. I can still remember the gigs even if I'm crap at remembering the years!
Rest In Peace

“Put yer good money on the sunrise”

definetely a unique and amazing voice!

Hey, I remember you! (I think I was 'pearlmelon' then.) It was okay, we got there late Sat. It was nice to have all Melon fans in one place for Shannon as usual, but I still really wish Nel would play the videos & stuff like she did in the beginning ones, I wish I could have been there for those. I didn't get to talk to Nel this year cuz I was sick and sadly she has Cancer, (as if she hasn't been through enough) :( so I didn't want to go near her & chance getting her sick. She's a strong woman though, if anyone can kick its ass, she will.
For some strange reason today I listened to the 1st album today. I haven't listened to it since probably last winter.
Interesting coincidence. Blind Melon was at the 1st Pearl Jam show I ever saw in 93'. I was fortunate enough to see them a couple of times.

Oh my, they dropped the leash.

"Make our day"
but only love can brake your fall
It really is quite strong...definitely my favorite out of their small (shortened) catalog.
Sadly, the title track is absent. It would have made a nice addition.
New Life is a song that has taken on a stronger meaning lately with the upcoming arrival of PissBottleBaby.
"...Cause now there's a new life to behold and its the biggest part of my life to unfold."
