is it just me or is the the best song the chilis have put out since BSSM days??

i love it. it has a great mini build before each chorus, it has an incredible jam/guitar solo/outro. there are 3 different guitar overdubs duirng the last solo. two are playing off eachother then the 3rd one comes in and elevates it even higher. such a wicked song. need to get it off my chest. i just rock out everytime i hear it. it really hits me this one, musically i mean.

    This is the stand out song on the album for me too, mainly for the solo. Fruscantie is an awsome guitarist.

    I'm with you all the way. Frusciante is at his absolute best there, not just on that track but on the whole album. I love his riffs and and vocals at the end of "Charlie" as well.

    I love the whole album, but this is probably my favorite track on it. I agree, the layered guitars at the end are amazing. I also love the juxtaposition of the quiet, funky, almost James Brown style riff on the verse with the rocking Hendrixesque guitar riff of the chorus.

    I also feel the need to point out how badass the solo at the end of 21st Century is. Total Jimmy Page ripping on that one.

    The end soloing is fucking disgusting. Easily my favourite song since BSSM. I think it should have closed off the album with a longer ending

    I personally think in 20 years, John Frusciante will be looked back on as THE guitarist of the 90's. I'm not hesitant to list him with the Jimi Hendrixes and the Eric Claptons of the world

    I love that solo too. Same with the Readymade solo. It sounds like hes having sex with his guitar, for lack of a better term

    After hearing this album I was immediately blown away by this tune

    I brought it to a few people's attention mainly because of the wicked-ass guitar playing

    My favorite Peppers song...period
