what are your thoughts on the new song "original fire"?

    It starts out very cool, then goes nowhere. Tom's solo is really bad.

    i think its pretty good but its not blowing me away. toms solo is not so good in this one, but hes had some bad solos in the past....i think cornell is sounding pretty good...

    overall probly like a 7/10 and not nearly as bad as everyone says it is...but i really havent heard it enough so maybe it needs to sink in and then ill really be digging it

    not impressed at all - really liked some of their other stuff but not into this one

    it's much like all of audioslave, gimmicky, boring, lacking in inspiration and creativity. former greats who on both sides left their best elements behind.

    isn't this the third thread about the new song in the past couple of days?

    the vox really bother me. it sounds like Cornell is gagging. he's such a better singer than that, i dont know why hes doing that.

    the song really actually kind of annoyed me. their first album kicks.

    im still probably going to pick the record up anyway, usually theres better stuff than the single...like PJs new album. ha.
