Hello Everyone,
First off, I would like to let everyone know that I am hosting a benefit concert to celebrate the life of a friend who passed away. The show is July 12, 2008 at 8pm and will include the PJ tribute band, "Ten" and will be in the Scranton, PA area at the Wildcat Saloon in Sturges, PA. This will be the 2nd annual benefit concert we have done with this being the first with a PJ-related band. Jason loved PJ and has seen them live many times. The last time I saw PJ with him was his last show, Camden II in 2006.
We are planning on the proceeds going to Jason's scholarship fund as well as one other benificiary. If anyone has any ideas on another great cause, please feel free to contact me. Currently, we are leaning towards donating the other portion of the money to benefit children and families with Autism.
We are just almost done designing a T-shirt to commemorate the event and would like to have a design or sketch(PJ related) on the front of the shirt. If any artists out there can contribute or have any ideas, please contact me. I already have the OK from Ames Bros. to use one of their existing designs, but I feel it would be nice to have a fresh design from one of you. I can offer a concert poster or some other memorabilia for your efforts(Just let me know what you are thinking).
I would like to keep this thread alive(Sticky?) to keep everyone informed on this and get as many fans as possible to come together for a great cause. I hope some of you who are local will have the opportunity to come and rock out with us on this special occasion.

We are sooooo looking forward to this weekend. Jason's story has moved all of us, and we are looking forward to an amazing night !
To all of you who don't know, Chad is a die hard PJ fan who toured around and followed PJ to many shows with his friend Jason. Jason passed long before his time, and this event will be a tribute to him, his friends, and the common bond that we all had with him, A love for Pearl Jam.
For those of you within traveling distance, please plan to join us on July 12th in Scranton, PA. It promises to be a truly memorable event !!!
