    This one time I was at a White Stripes show at the Magic Stick in Detroit and I was about to leave the ladies room, when Meg was walking in and i almost ran into her. She was holding a drink in her hand. Good thing she didn't spill her drink on her or she would've short-circuited! Then Jack would've had to cancel the show so he could find a new robot.

    Jack probably likes it this way, so he can be totally the dominant one in the pair and maybe she's fine with being in a support role to him. I do like their sound and her drumming. Simple yes, but hard hitting.

    Wow, you guys really don't get it do you? If Jack had an extremely gifted drummer, the songs simply wouldn't sound the same. It's all Jack wants is SIMPLE drumming.

    My point is that she is vastly overrated. I agree that Jack's songs do sound better with simple drum patterns, but anyone could get behind the drums and play the same beats as Meg. Jack justly deserves all the praise that he receives, but IMO, Meg is being critically hailed by association only.

    i dont think shes overrated at all...its a fair comment to say that shes good at playing minimalist style, whatever u wanna call it..she does make white stripes songs what they are..

    like western pearl said, without meg the songs wont sound the same..jack has said that himslef repeatedly
