This is a thread for sharing the name of a song that you may have recently discovered for yourself, or rediscovered, that made you go "HOLY SHIT, THIS IS F'N AWESOME!" Then explain a little about what makes the song great.
Mine for today, and yesterday and probably tomorrow is:
"Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots, Pt. 2."
That tune kicks ass. It's a sonic buffet of musicianship and creativity with lethal beats and wicked breakdowns. It reminds of something you'd expect on DJ Shadow or Q-Bert disc, or Mix Master Mike. But it's The Flaming Lips. And it's the crescendo on a superbly imaginative disc. F'n awesome.
