I just saw "Quasi" earlier this week and although I was previously unaware of them I think a lot of people on here would really like them. Its a band that Janet Weiss, the drummer for Sleater Kinney co-formed in 1993. They have a very grunge kind of dynamic with a little Sonic Youth thrown in there and there's of course a lot of drums, basically if you like the style of the drums on SK's "The Woods" you'll enjoy this. They're totally different from SK, except for the drumming style but they really reminded me of old school grunge back when bands were sort of experimenting. Check them out, they just put out a new album called "When The Going Gets Dark" and they rock.
