Smokey Robinson constantly looks like he's trying to act natural after being accused of farting.

And when does Lanegan ever look less than overjoyed?

But then we would have to go look for it.... Thanks so much
And the only thing better than Greg Dulli and Mark Lanegan is Greg and Mark with Dave Rosser on guitar.
Idle Hands, live on Letterman.
"Its a secret to everybody."
so do you know who the other guitarist (not jeff klein or rosser) is on this?
I think it's Ed Harcourt, a British singer/songwriter type chap. He was their support act on some European dates.
oh, i noticed he was supporting... not heard anything by him but i got the impression from other people he was a little bland. his slide-y guitar is nice here anyway.
its a shame jeff klein didn't open again in glasgow.
would be cool to see them play with ani difranco or shawn smith but its already so stacked... i love joseph arthur on this:

...and of course, rosser
I know they had Martina Topley-Bird onstage with them at the Koko show, but like you said, there's already so much going on onstage - at one point on Jools, there were four guitars going, which is probably too much. And then there's already two lead singers, and three or four backing singers...:p
i remember martina topley-bird saying she grew up listening to pearl jam...
it wasn't her that ed danced with on 'later' was it? or was it someone else with a similar name whose husband just died? i was too bitter at not getting astoria tix to pay much attention...
i need sleep.
Hehe... Nah, that was Corinne Bailey Ray.:p
I think the Twilight Singers remind me of the E-Street Band more than the Gutter Twins. Well, the source material, at least - the touring band is identical.:p
