Thanks. I lost my mp3 of Elijah a long time ago and I use to love that song more than I could ever express. It's up there with Chloe Dancer/Crown of Thorns for me.

Haven't listened to MLB for so long.
"I remember one night at Muzdalifa with nothing but the sky overhead, I lay awake amid sleeping Muslim brothers and I learned that pilgrims from every land — every colour, and class, and rank; high officials and the beggar alike — all snored in the same language"

Thanks for the post PJGARDEN. I'll have to check this out when I get home from work and can download stuff.

I really enjoy MLB, but haven't ever heard any of the Malfunkshun stuff, which I do want to hear.

Most of the Malfunkshun stuff is pretty bad but Until the Ocean is a really great song. I wanna be your Daddy is pretty good too.

Really? Well, I figured it wouldn't be all that great since Malfunkshun never made it big. Mainly, I want to hear these songs because I like going through the progression to see the growth, direction, and refinement that a band/musician takes in their career.

Yeah it's worth hearing, just don't expect anything too great, besides the songs I mentioned :) Until the Ocean is a classic Wood ballad. Should have been an MLB song really.

    Thanks!
What the fuck is this world?
  • The MLB demos have been available on many different bootlegs throughout the years.

Some of them were on the Hal. Recipes boxset back in the day, and there was a pretty popular "MLB Studio Demos" disc that you could find at your mom and pop record store back in the day too.

My buddy, who was a bigger MLB fan than a PJ fan used to play that thing endlessly.

The chloe\COT version from hte demos is slightly slower, and about a .5 key lower ... pretty cool.

    Thanks for the uploads.
Sure alot of peeps gettin off on it.
    :D
If I was to smile and I held out my hand
If I opened it now would you not understand?

Temple of the Dog was formed in 1990

I like Winter Bites and Jezebel Woman too... and maybe even Rocketship Chair. But I Wanna Be Your Daddy is by far the best thing on there.
Smokey Robinson constantly looks like he's trying to act natural after being accused of farting.
