I´ve heard of him, got "the acoustic motorbike" and "riverside", have to admit it´s been a while since I listened to it...mainly because I´m out of a fucking vinyl-player :(........ but I remember I really liked it....and....this post had me browse my vinyls and next to Bloom I found Peter Case and Black Velvet Band.....ueeeeeeewwww...... I want a new vinyl-player !!!!!...asap...

It's weird how Luka seems to be quite well known outside of Ireland but nobody in Ireland knows anything about him, apart from the fact that he's Christy Moores brother and Christy is a living legend, but probably unheard of internationally
    The Astoria??? Orgazmic!
    Verona??? it's all surmountable
Dublin 23.08.06 "The beauty of Ireland, right there!"
    Wembley? We all believe!
Copenhagen?? your light made us stars
    Chicago 07? And love
    What a different life
Had I not found this love with you

I know Riverside (with the mighty Delirious on) and Amsterdam (with Sunny Sailor Boy on), both excellent albums ... Saw him on a festival once ... Just him and his guitar, are such a perfect match ...
RIP Syd ... Shine on you crazy diamond ...

yeah...ive got Acoustic Motorbike, Salty Heaven, Keeper of the Flame, and Amsterdam...

i must admit i like Keeper of the Flame the best.....it is just an album of only covers.

luka bloom does some awesome cover versions.....he takes songs that are nothing like his own, and turns them into nice little acoustic ditties
