I am way behind but i just recently fell in love with them and they are definetly one of my favorite and i think always will be, they are amazing!!! Mouthfull of Cavities, Walk, pretty much the whole Soup album, is the best thing that has happened to me in a while...Any other Melon heads out there???

I would complain if this was the 3rd Nickelback thread this week, but Blind Melon deserves as many threads as possible

I would have to say the two songs that hooked me were Walk and Mouthfull of Cavities, but that is just two of the many great songs...

what a lyric. I've only got the self-titled album but I need to pick up soup. Soak the sin, sleepyhouse, paper scratcher and mouthfull of cavities are my favourite songs.

many others just can't think of them right now...
not that it matters on my outlook on the music, they are still spectacular in all ways ...i am just curious as of what his beliefs were..i mean maybe they are just against people pushing there beliefs on others...not sure??
Any ideas

that's actually a steppenwolf cover. it's not so much about religion as it is about "pushers"... people who try to force their lifestyle upon you, be it evangelical christians or drug dealers.
Nico is one of the greatest b-side records of all time, but Soup is just incredible.
Better than lost dogs..
hmm.. yeah.

was so lucky to see them 3 times in concert and pretty much know the words to every song. nothing like putting on one of their cd's and jamming out driving in your car on a sunny day.
i love Letters from a Porcupine
i also just saw they put out a live DVD and CD recently that i need to get!
