Yeah, whether they fill you with desire, make your heart soar, empower you and fill you with confidence, or deeply touch you in times of serious trouble. There is a few songs we all love as favourites, and there are songs that you hold so dear to you because they reach out and grab you in such a way. Whatever those songs are, share them. Mabye you can help someone feel the same way. And let us know what each song makes you feel. :)
no matter where you go,
there you are.

I think the most contented I have ever been in my life was summer 2006. everything was just simple and how I wanted it. At that time I first heard Celebrated Summer by Husker Du and it just sounded so amazing. Even though I think the lyrics are quite sad and wistful, the sound of the song is just so uplifting and it just takes me back to that celebrated summer of mine.

Sarah Harmer - Lodestar....this song gives me chills everytime I hear it. The song takes me places - out on the lake, surrounded by the darkness and silence. A completely beautiful and incredible piece of music. Another poster (with impeccable taste in music) on this board described it as "songwriting perfection". If you don't know this tune already, you should all check it out.
