    I use my ipod to wake me up every morning with a random song. I got some Metallica this morning, which always works well. Its always better when its a song with loads of energy, gets you fired up for the day. Wake Up by Rage Against The Machine is a great song at any time of day.

    I know it was probably a joke, but Mad Season cannot be listened to in the daytime.. well it can be, but that's a straitforward nighttime record. :)

    This thread is fun!
    I actually made a 20-track "Wake Up" Cd last week for my new CD alarm clock...unfortunately I discovered the new clock automatically plays the first track on the disc when used as an alarm, no matter what! I need to find a new one, where I can set specific tracks instead of defaulting to the first track.
    I need to go look at the setlist of the disc, but offhand I know I put PJ's cover of "I Believe In Miracles" somewhere on there.

    Once in a while I wake up to Dredg - Bug eyes, or Head Automatica - Beating Heart Baby. Also during NFL season, if I have a late Saturday night, I set it to the Monday Night Football theme song to wake up on Sunday morning.
