I think it may be better than the original! it's like he's showing them how to play it!

    first time i heard it, i assumed that soundgarden covered it from cash.. when i knew i was shocked! he was great.
    it's easy to confuse a great design with life's ripercussions

    what's great is that he really puts the emphasis on the lyrics, they're really good but they don't really stand out in the original

    I mean the guitars and drums take up a lot of space in the original and cornell yells so the focus isn't really on the lyrics

    Its genius. I agree about the lyrics. I don't think I ever really paid much attention to them in the original.

    I stumbled across it somewhere on the internet once and couldn't believe my ears. Johnny Cash was the man.

    johnny cash covered that song pretty good. I heard johnny cash cover a few danzig songs too wish sounded good

    In Cash by Johnny Cash, he talks about how hard it was for the band (his touring band, not Heartbreakers) to do it live. He was amazing; great man of Faith who went through Hell and back.

    one of my all time favourite songs is "thirteen" written by glenn danzig for johnny cash. both danzig and cash's versions are spectacular and haunting. i'll have to look around for more danzig covers, but this one is a must for danzig and cash fans.

    I got "Cash" for Christmas and absolutely love it! I think he does a great version of "Rusty Cage" and, of course, "Hurt". My poor daughter covers her ears whenever she hears it though. We're both die hard Soundgarden fans and she loves NIN. I have a little bit more of an open mind to covers but she thinks it's some sort of blasphemy. Good for torture when she's pissing me off!

    Cash does great job with covers..this time though i prefer Soundgarden's original version
