The Fratelli's ?

No not the family that interrogate Chunk in The Goonies, the band from Glasgow.
Costello Music is great.
Flathead E.P just released in the U.S.
Seeing them live is a must, Chelsea Dagger is fun at gigs!

My fave track is Henrietta.
What about that Nutini, you heard him sing live? he sounds like a bad Bob Marley impression

Mitch Hedberg- RIP 1968-2005. your jokes have laughed me through a lot. I thank you.
Sounds and looks like Paulo has been drinking since he hit the big time, i know a few people who said he looked a little worse for wear when they saw him live. The dykeenies have released a couple of singles, New Ideas and Waiting for Go. They are quite poppy, but write very catchy songs. Pretty young bunch of guys but they are doing pretty well, saw them at King Tuts ages ago and they were pretty good.

No bother lass
I'm listening to Waiting For Go right now and i really like it! I'm quite biased with Glasgow bands anyway
Back at the Academy in March too
Yeah its a good song, i actually think new ideas is better though. I know what you mean about being biased, i always like seeing Glasgow bands doing well, and there are quite a few at the moment who have a lot of potential. I met a couple of the guys dykeenies ages ago and they were sound, hopefully goes well for them.
Thats the video for new ideas - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gxtXgKepIAc

I will be there tomorrow night seeing my friends band - Magma Child. I will mention them to you incase they make it big lol

Tuh Duh Duh
Duh Duh Duh Duh Duh Duh
stop moaning you!
As I said, my fave song is "Henrietta" funnily enough
I think the chance is very little that I will like this band.
I was talking to a guy who said his friend worked in a place that the Fratelli's played in quite a lot before they made it big, and he said that out of all the local bands he'd seen coming up, he thouhgt they were the least likely to get anywhere! Theyd been plugging away for ages and ages apparently and nothing was happening, then creeping up the backstair became very popular and they took off.
Oh dear god no, and luke pritchard the singer is a plonker.
Ive gone off both the fratellis and the kooks completely after getting their albums, although i think the fratellis are just bearable, aside from chelsea dagger.
I dont think they recieved all that much hype at when i first started listening to them, which was over a year ago. They are on the radio quite a lot now, and their videos are on the music channels all the time. I think they are ok, but find them a bit boring. There are a couple of decent tracks i like, eddies gun and sofa song, but find it all sounding the same really.
Man, I hate that song...
