I know there's already a thread in which close-minded people flame CC for playing with Linkin Park (even though he's already been doing so), but fuck all that. I want to know who else is going!

I've got my tickets and I'm psyched. I'm seeing him in West Palm Beach and Tampa. Buying PJ tickets and CC tickets in the same week is all so overwhelming, but in the best of ways. <3

    I would never think of going to a show in which Linkin Park was headliner.

    I would really like to see Linkin Park live... just, I don't think I'd like the crowd at all...

    The other bands are really bad too, why spend that much money to see Chris Cornell solo? He isnt that great.

    I saw LP YEARS AGO live and they really weren't that bad. I used to be a fan, but got burnt out on their 1st album

    Good to know. At the Tampa show I am going with an LP fan, so I don't really have the option of leaving. Are you going to either of the shows?

    I wouldn't mind going to see CC, but this is going to be a pretty pricey summer concert season- PJ in WPB, Bonnaroo, X in May, thinking about taking my wife to see Heart in Tampa, Slipknot/Disturbed in Tampa, and maybe Poison in Tampa :)
    and STP if they come to FL- hopefully Orlando or Tampa

    Exactly. And it's not just linkin park that I'm put off by--every single one of those bands are just something I don't ever care to see. And yes, I know I could buy a ticket and just go for CC's set, but why pay for the whole festival just to see him do (I'm assuming) a shortened set.

    Also, I would not be to happy being in the crowd. I'm sure a lot of the fans of those other bands have never heard of Chris Cornell. . .I just hope he doesn't play something like "Arms Around Your Love" for that crowd, sheesh :s

    I thought about going to this for about 5 minutes but then reality kicked in.

    ~I'm not interested in suffering through all of that noise even for Cornell
    ~If I went to this I'd be in GA (it's the really the only way) and I'd be in GA with a bunch of retards as opposed to a Cornell audience

    i've seen him and he plays nothing but his megahits from Soundgarden and Audioslave

    Not true. He also plays material from his two solo albums, and from Temple of the Dog. Perhaps you were in the toilet queue. ;)
