  • I really could care less. I'm really hoping for some new music to hold us over until the new album. An EP of b-sides would be amazing, but I don't see that happening any time soon.

    Oh well.

I'd be much more interested in seeing a PJ show, than seeing PJ play just a part in a festival. Add to that the location, and that it is historically a festival that draws dirty, smelly hippies, and I'll pass on this one.

Count me out. Just not a festival person. That does not mean Pearl Jam should not play festivals like some people around he think.

    Way to stereotype.

I guess PJ's ideals don't influence everyone who listens to their music, after all.

I care. I've been waiting for Pearl Jam to play Bonnaroo since 2002. It will be fantastic.

    Festivals aren't for everyone though.

Many stereotypes exist for a reason. There are also exceptions to every stereotype. Bonnaroo has been a jam band festival for years. Jam Bands + Festival setting = dirty smelly hippies. Sorry about that.

Bonnaroo seems to be breaking away from that. Hence my use of "historically." It is turning into more of a rock festival which is a good thing.

Yep. Don't give a shit about Bonnaroo here. That whole announcement thing was so anti-climactic. Watered down performances. Thousands of gross, sweaty people. High prices. Sounds like fun!

I'm just not a festival kind of gal, so the anti-climactic announcement didn't do too much for me. But I'm sure that those who go will have a great time.

I am still hoping for some indoor, air conditioned, southern, Pearl Jam only shows very soon!!!!

I've never seen PJ live, and I really want to, but no, I don't want to be at a festival. I don't think I'd feel very good at a festival - and when I see PJ - I want to enjoy every aspect of the experience. I've wandered this earth long enough to know myself fairly well. And I'm willing to to wait. Guess it's just some of the good and bad parts of getting old.
