Agreed. We didn't even stay for the whole set @ Voodoo because of how mediocre it was.

Glad dude appears to have his setlists going in the right direction now.

The Pumpkins @ Voodoo was one of the most disappointing concerts I have ever been to. The crowd's life was sucked out when they did a 15 minute jam on a fucking Machina song...such bullshit. And they didn't even play Cherub Rock.

I'd really love to hear the two songs I've highlighted above in Dublin on Saturday week. Those and Untitled, it's been sounding awesome!

  • Great to see Cash Car Star pop up there. I wonder if Speed Kills, Glass' Theme, and Dross will be showing up soon. Love those Machina II tracks.

Porcelina would make a tremendous opener too.

I wonder how many of last years tunes will stay in the rotation? It seemed like The Aeroplane Flies High, In My Body, An Ode To No One, Untitled, and Silverfuck seemed to fall by the wayside following the residency shows.

Damn Pumpkins, havent even done a proper US tour and here they are playing Europe again. Zeitgeist was crap as well. The so called reunion has been quite disappointing to me (a once huge Pumpkins fan)

I dont call a proper tour one that consists of them playing for a week straight at 2 different venues, skipping their hometown of Chicago and not playing Milwaukee or Madison.

They missed way too many spots while hitting many way too many times, quite a poor tour if you ask me

You could still have made it to the illinois or Minnestoa gig if you really wanted to. There's a lot of things to fault the pumpkins on post reunion but lack of touring isn't one of them. You just seem to be bitter that they're playing all over Europe before they've played Wisconsin. I even take my hat off to them, they've played some pretty obscure places that don't see many tours.(Luxembourg, Istanbul, Belgrade, Budapest, Helsinki, Jakarta)

I could understand it if they only toured one coast of the US or only played the south, but you seem to be whining cos the closest gigs to you were 200 miles away.

Take a look at these lists and see where you'd rather live:

Wow! Amazing setlist Prague)! Makes me really jealous!
  • They added Stellar (my favorite track off Zeitgeist) and SuperChrist to their setlist in Austria... WOW!

Oh, and I agree, Zeitgeist is far from the Pumpkins best work, but it did just go Gold in the States (sales in excess of 500,000 units) not bad in today's music industry!

Does anyone have any high quality Pumpkins bootlegs from the 90's?

And that set needs Hummer and Muzzle...2 of my favorite songs ever.
  • http://www.archive.org. Lots of Pumpkins shows over there. Pretty sure there are a couple of sbd and FM broadcasts from the SD and MCIS tours.
