New music today...

Hey there all, as we all are aware it's new music Tuesday and there are some great albums out!

I'd recommend picking up the first full length from the Silversun Pickups (http://www.silversunpickups.com), it's great, lengthy (especially for a first album)... the sound is a bit Pumpkinsesque and they play a killer live show (I saw them play Capitol Hill Block Party this last weekend... yet another reason to move to Seattle, hello the Murder City Devils played!!!!).

Another solid album is the third full lenghth from a Chicago band called Kill Hannah, in fact they sound pretty similar to the Silversun Pickups... These guys really bring it live, you can check them out at http://www.killhannah.com or http://www.myspace.com/killhannah.

    cool i'll have to keep my eye open for some of those.

    another band from seattle that rocks is Minus the Bear :)

    In Canada at least..

    A new record by a band called "The Marble Index" (NOT me... i just like'm alot), came out yesterday. It's their 2nd effort and it's called "Watch Your Candles, Watch Your Knives". Check out myspace.com/marbleindex for a few songs available to listen to.

    They're better than alot of the new rock stuff out there.

    Speaking of Silversun Pickups.... They are going to be touring with Wolfmother in November... That would be a good show!
