Nine Inch Nails "Broken: The Movie"

Sickest, most intense, most fucked up thing I have ever seen in my life. However, I think at the same time it makes an extremely powerful statement and shows just how much of a genius Reznor is. Anyone else seen it? Let's discuss!!!!

    Are you just talking about the videos from the Broken songs? If so, those are shocking and disgusting.......I lost respect for Trent if he has control over the ideas for them.

    The movie was never officially released. It was a bootleg, showcasing a 20 min. long film that was supposed to go with the EP. Extremely graphic, and a lot of it looks like it was filmed with a video camcorder. I also heard that the FBI even did an investigation with Trent Reznor when copies of the film were discovered.

    Well, the videos are in the movie. And there is an alternate version for Gave Up in the Broken Movie. The one showed on TV featured Marilyn Manson, but the Movie version is extraordinarily twisted.

    Love the music but I will steer clear of the videos

    (Besides for Survivalism which I think is the most genius video in years)

    Watch the one i posted earlier first... its a ridiculous segue. The man obviously went through some intense issues in the late 80s/early 90s

    couldn't ask for greater expression of this than broken and downward spiral

    The EP Broken was actually written for Trent's old manager at TVT records which pretty much fucked him over, so he really wanted to make a dark and graphic statement to them.

    I know its out there and could have grabbed it, (a certain somebody leaked it over christmas) but I don't think I'll ever be able to watch it, given what I know about the content.

    I saw it last year, and after all I had heard about it, it wasn't as bad as I was expecting it to be. Don't get me wrong, it's very distubring, I just thought it would be way worse than it was. Something you should see once...then try to erase it from your mind!
