I just happened to listen to this cover this morning and it's pretty sweet. The girl from Rilo Kely (sp?) does a great work with the lead vocals and I heard other members include M Ward, Ben Gibbard and the guy from Bright Eyes.
If the rest of the stuff is as good as this, I'll be looking forward to their album.
And I actually think is cool fun to start your own supergroup doing a cover from the best supergroup ever (Traveling Wilburys).
Stone: Thanks for the pick and the night of complicity, you rock!

Hey, gabers. Glad to know you feel you can trust my taste.
And you know it'll be a pleasure to hook you, thing is I don't have the record (planning to order it though), they just put the song on the radio while I was driving to work this morning... I'm starting to think Mexico city's radio isn't as bad as I used to think.
It's really an outstanding track... by the way, the guys that put the song commented a reissue from both Wilbury's records including bonus tracks and such is on the way, so we shall be looking forward to that. I'm actually missing the 2nd. album from my collection.

I bought my Wilburys cd a year or so ago on ebay. I couldn't find a decent copy of it anywhere. It was pirated and made in I think Russia. It included both albums on one disc. Bonus songs huh? I'd be interested in that too. Anyway, I'll look for that song when I get home tonight. If I have any luck downloading it I'll let you know.

yeah, I'll be thankful if you have luck getting the record and letting me know...

I just found out that those 2 Wilburys records are like really hard to find these days. The guys at radio also talked about that, how they're out of print (crime!) and you just can find them on e-bay with stratospheric prices... wow! The guys weren't even sure if they were released as cd back in the day... something I can confirm: yes they were released on cd when they came out, I can tell because I got my Wilburys cd back when it was originally released -God! how long ago was that? man, I'm really old!
I'm pretty sure I used to have their 2nd. cd, but probably sold it when I was too young and naive to really appreciate it... or maybe my memory is just playing tricks on me after so many years of beer and stuff.

Well, I just listened to a sample of the song on Itunes. Not bad not bad - but not as good as the Wilburys.
