Has anyone checked the mixing work of this guy?
You can try it here: http://www.gohomeproductions.co.uk

It's not for the weak hearted, I'm sure some people here will find it outrageous. But I think it's entertaining at least and some of the stuff openly exciting and interesting. My particular favorites are the Echo & the Bunnymen with Abba mix and Van Halen's Jump with Christina Aguilera's What a Girl Want.
It really puts a smile on my face everytime one of this tracks comes out on my iTunes.
Check it out if you have the time (and mood).
Stone: Thanks for the pick and the night of complicity, you rock!

I quite enjoyed some of these tracks, I've had them on the hard drive for a while now, they are really really well done.

Personal favourite has to be Rapture Riders, the Blondie/The Doors mix. Pretty haunting sounding.

  • barcoach, you never cease to amaze me :D

i've been a fan of go home production for ages!!!!!!!
great mash-ups, almost legendary in the scene...
i do really like GHP because he always uses lots of rock tracks...

    some of my faves include:
'RETURN OF THE WEATHER EPISODE' Snoop Dogg & Dr Dre / Crowded House
'WORK IT OUT WITH A FOXY LADY' Beyonce / Jimi Hendrix
'KARMA IN THE LIFE' Radiohead / The Beatles
'BREAKIN MY BLOODY PROCESS' Kasabian / The Music / My Bloody Valentine

RAY OF GOB (madonna / sex pistols) is probably his most famous track but i don't like it all that much...

haven't checked out his stuff recently but i will do that now...

if anyone's interested in a good (the best?) place for mash-ups on the net, go to http://www.gybo.org/
all the greats are posting on the GYBO message board...

Hey there, psy... pretty cool that you appreciate this stuff as well (did we fall from the same planet?). I just got into GHP thanks to a track they put on the radio (We Will Rock You + Back in Black + Black Dog + something else... that one really rocks!), and just downloaded about everything that they have on the page now. I really like it. Just a few moments ago I was feeling like shit here at work and then came one of his dj sets and definitely brought me up again.
Hey, if you can send those Karma in the Life and Work it Out For a Foxy Lady tracks down my way, you're gonna make me amazingly happy (once again).

I must thank you for posting this site. I downloaded a ton of this stuff a year or so back and haven't revisited the site in a while. I'm glad I did now, there's a ton of newer stuff I hadn't heard.

I'm really loving the Juicebox Rock and Kaw Liga X.
