ticket brokers...

How come the sale at the Garden for the tickets have not been announced or at least I haven't seen the date... but yet they are all over the ticket broker sites.

BY THE WAY...GOT SHUT OUT OF BOTH NEW YORK SHOWS TODAY...

    Hello, fellow Staten Islander. I feel bad for you. I was lucky enough to grab a pair for night 2, but it wasn't easy. I was about to go insane, as a result of today's activities.

    Anyway, I wouldn't worry. You could get some via Ticketmaster April 11th, or someone may be able to hook you up. I will do my best to get the 1st night via Ticketmaster.

    I am hoping for both of the Garden shows. But I have a bad feeling I am not going to get any.

    I saw the cops haul away some asshole trying to scalp in front of the Vic last year. It almost made my 7 hours of suffering for nothing feel better. FUCK BROKERS!!!

    Anywhere!!!!! I spoke to my friend today who is also a huge fan and he told me that TICKETMASTER only allotted them 1000 fan club seats or pairs per show.(I forgot what he said)

    In 2003...it was 8000 HOW CAN THEY DO THAT?? I am just venting, TIcketmaster sucks!!!

    20,000 (roughly) seats in MSG X 10% = 2,000 seats \2 (a pair) = 1,000 PAIRS.
    10% RULE.

    Brokers have tickets because people who have seasons tickets have first opportunity to purchase their seats. They align themselves with a broker and commit the seats to them for key events. The broker knows the moment the event is announced tickets that he will have available to sell. My issue with this is that it is a clear violation of the season ticket holders license agreement with the venue. With some investigation, the venues could probably weed out some of these whores and revoke their tickets...that said, I don't think the venues care. It seems to be a don't ask don't tell policy.

    Sorry to be the bearer of bad news earlier.

    TM is also the reason why our dues have gone up.

    Part of the arrangement for bands to be able to keep 10% of tickets for fan clubs was that they had to be legitimate fan clubs. TM in 2003 decided arbitrarily that legitimate fan clubs had dues of at least $15 a year. Before 04 our dues were $10 a year.

    I'm guessing TM raised their standards to $20 a year which is why our dues are now $20. So TM is the cause behind a lot of problems these days.
