I really hate posting a thread on one show but i can't seem to find any info on who's going to open for him here in Chicago. Wilco and Everest are on the second half leg except Wilco is NOT playing this show. Does anyone know the opening act/if there is one?

  • theres no way wilco doesnt play their hometown show... thats their leg of the tour anyway... its not gonna be death cab... and i couldnt see it just being everest... there could be some contractual reason or something why wilco isnt confirmed yet... i just really hope its them... and not U2 :p

gonna be an amazing show regardless! (as long as im close enough to the stage to not notice how shitty the sound is in that place)

  • I don't really think it will be Wilco. They've already played here six times this year.

Somebody from Wilco was quoted as as saying they're not playing the Chicago date cause they played six times this year plus they've got a new album and tour in the works.

..so nobody knows who's opening yet..seems odd that it would be kept this big a secret..and why chicago?

actually...that doesn't sound that odd...Crosby & Nash are playing in the area on Halloween and CSN did play that show for 97.1 a couple months back. Maybe some Living with war stuff?

"You're no help," he told the lime. This was unfair. It was only a lime; there was nothing special about it at all. It was doing the best it could.

actually, i heard that it's gonna be madonna.

Sweet. So is she gonna wear flannel, or is Neil going to wear fishnets?

What would they duet on? Bite the Bullet? Dirty Old Man?
