It's pretty hard to top radio heads creep, but I'll give it a listen. I mean Korn has done some pretty desent covers. I just think Creep is going to be impossible to top. I am a huge Bob Dylan fan... but his cover of creep was complete shit :( I don't have a copy of it, because it was an old napster file, and those got lost years ago.

I'm not sure, but that file was most definitley Dylan. I'm kicking myself for not having that.

Gov't Mule has done Creep live and it was pretty good.

Yeah, Eddie's version is not really worth listening more than twice, but I like Korn and I'm curious to see what they've come up with.

  • Thier cover of ABITW was bad enough. Doing a recorded cover of a band's biggest hit sucks in most cases.

true. i'm sure we'll say the same thing when the first Teen Spirit cover comes out.

I'm assuming if they are releasing this on a cd that it has to be pretty decent. There is an acoustic version on the iron Lung ep that's great, but thom's still singing it.

I don't think i'd say he failed. I would say that he was having a good time with friends just f'n around and somehow a recording of the session leaked. Now, while i wouldn't reccomend Ed try to attempt this tune (for obvious Yorke/Vedder differences) this was purely a fun recording and not intended to be listened to beyond the room.

I bet it sounded great that night!
“I know this song so well, I can smoke a cigarette, have a drink, brush my teeth, take a shit, and mow the lawn while singing it. But I'll only be doing a couple of those things during this version.”

Make Me Bad/In Between Days (featuring Robert Smith)

Robert Smith of the Cure?? Why does he work with shitty bands like Blink 182 and Korn when there are some really good bands out there who have been inspired by his work?

Korn, I actually think could have pulled it off in the period that they were writing 'Untouchables' but too bad because they suck now.

    Excuse my ignorance, but ABITW?

Didn't Damien Rice cover "Creep"? I remember thinking it was pretty decent. It definitely sounded like Damien Rice. (Very few can cover Radiohead and do it justice).

No time to be void or save up on life. You got to spend it all.
  • The covers I've heard form Korn previously have just being very bad imitations of great songs. ABITW was much better done as a Floyd tune (or the supergroup featuring Layne and Morello) and Metallica's "One" shouldn't have being tried if they couldn't play the solo.

They should change "Creep" to "Craap" !

    ......but we are craap
    we are looooosers
what the hell we're doing here
    we don't belong here oohohhohho

    run...

Beavis : Is this Pearl Jam?
Butt-head: This guy makes faces like Eddie Vedder.
Beavis: No, Eddie Vedder makes faces like this guy.
Butt-head: I heard these guys, like, came first and Pearl Jam ripped them off.
Beavis: No, Pearl Jam came first.
    Butt-head: Well, they both suck.
  • wow, just listened to the song. i wouldn't say it was horrible but i would say it was very very boring
