    Got bored with this and basically all Offspring years ago. Cant stand the vocals.

    The Offspring are one of the worst bands on the planet along with Nickelback & Limp Bizkit. Fact!

    I agree to a point. Everything they have made since Ixnay is equivalent to those bands but the stuff before it wasnt that bad, it just grew really stale, thats all.

    That album had some fun tunes on it, Gotta Get Away was a good one. I was also a big fan of Bad Habit:

    Such attitudes

    You stupid dumbshit goddam MOTHERFUCKER!

    I've screamed those lines along in a few festival mosh pits in my time! Oh and in my car when some douche cuts me up!

    I liked Smash but that's about it. They went from being a band I can tolerate to being a hated band when they release "Pretty Fly For A White Guy" & "Why Don't You Get A Job" -which was a mockery they did with a good Beatles song).

    the album after smash .. yeah, wasn't all that great. smash was pretty good. just this chorus on this track:

    i think i'm gonna roll but I think it's kinda weak.
    saying all i know is i gotta get away from me.

    it's very catchy. has been stuck in my head the past few day's. along with filter's 'the best thing's & paul westerberg's 'waiting for somebody.'

    these guys had some pretty decent hits

    i actually popped in Americana in my car on the weekend...definitely not as good as i thought it was in 98 haha

    Ah yes, Americana was the "sell-out" album. BTW, they were more of a "grunge" band than punk weren't they?

    Anyways, I'll add that in my opinion, their best song was Gone Away.

    I don't know what album this from, it wasn't on Smash :confused:
    It also doesn't sound like a song they'd put in Americana or any album that featured "Original Prankster" or that song 'I Know You Wanna Hit That, Hit That' :p

    They began to suck on Americana; Ixnay is a nice album, I love Ignition and some of Smash and the self-titled.
    I believe the children are our future... unless we stop them now...
