And you didn't. Neener.
drivingrl: "Will I ever get to meet Gwen Stefani?"
kevinbeetle: "Yes. When her career washes up and her and Gavin move to Galveston, you will meet her at Hot Topic shopping for a Japanese cheerleader outfit.

  • how about an actual review of the show? I'll probably check them out at Lolla and am interested as to how good their live show is.
"I'll do whatever the song dictates - if it doesn't need a real lead, then I won't do one. But if it does, then I'll fuckin' go off." - Mike

"Japan is awesome; the fans there knew all the words to all the songs...at least phonetically." - Stone

"I know this song so well, I can smoke a cigarette, have a drink, brush my teeth, take a shit, and mow the lawn while singing it. But I'll only be doing a couple of those things during this version." - EV

Being that we're Pearl Jam fans, we are spoiled in the way of band interaction with the audience. The first time I saw Intepol in concert, they were all stoic-faced and they didn't move around much. And from my limited experience, they don't improv much with their songs. Like I said, Pearl Jam fans are spoiled.

But the crowd last night was great! We all knew every word to every song, and the band got a kick out of it. The lead singer said a few things, the guitarist (meow) jumped around a bunch, and I think I actually saw the bassist smile at one point.

You go for the music, not so much the show. (In my limited experience.)

I saw them a couple of weeks ago. They were FAAAANTASTIC. One of my favorite bands. :)
We’ll meet again, but not yet…not yet.

Daniel is quite fun to watch with that James Brown-shuffle-groove thing he has going on.

Carlos smiled? Bah. Believe it when I see it next weekend. Must be the pornstache.

It does suck. I just didn't feel like making the quick trip to the Gorge to camp out in the Parking Lot :(
