Sorry, but I can't not stand the new Audioslave song, Original Fire.

Anyone else agree?

Visit any Audioslave thread. You'll find tons who agree. This is a redundant thread!

I think it's pretty good but not amazing. From what I've heard from Revelations, this is by far the weakest track. The other stuff is phenomenal.

i like the song, except for Tom´s solo (aka the laughing monkey), it ruins the song for me.

    YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    OMG!!!

I can't believe someone else thinks that wrecks the song too!!

To me it sounds like a Clown Laughing, that's what I tell everyone and they look at me weird...........it just deosn't suit the song at all.

    i agree with this guy.

    I'd say it's okay..

not the worst thing in the world for sure, but i have much higher expectations for the rest of the record.

And as for morello's solo the only problem i have is that is completely kills the momentum in the song. Terrible placement for that kind of lead work.

I like the song but this is the worst morello solo I ever heard. I'm pissed theyre not touring for this CD.

I agree, Morello's sound is getting so worn out, he needs to go back to his roots and start playing some great jazz scale solos. THAT was why I liked him so much in the first place. Its almost like he forgot he could actually play.
