Far too lazy to look for a thread if there already is one for them, but your thoughts? I think California is quite possibly my favorite non-PJ album of all time....it's effing brilliant.
Speaking as a child of the 90's....I never thought you'd habit.

California is good but I prefer Mr. Bungle.... Girls of Porn and Stubb (A Dubb) are fantastic songs.
... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

Hmmm maybe I have to listen to California more... I just love Mr. Bungle cuz it was my introduction to Mike Patton away from Faith No More, I first listened to it when I was about 16 round my friends house, her hubby played it to me and I just thought "WTF?!" got my mitts on it a few years later and fell in love with it... and Mike Patton! lol
You a Peeping Tom fan?

For more Patton, also check out Lovage - "Music to make love to your old lady by" he did with Jennifer Charles
PS:
To Patrick Bateman:
Hey Halberstram, how the hell are ya?!
PJ albums, at the moment!! -
1,Vs 2,Vitalogy 3,No Code 4,Yield 5,Ten 6,Backspacer, 7Pearl Jam 8,Binaural 9,Riot Act.
I really feel they grew with each album, with California being the best of the three. Seeing them perform live was amazing, it was like watching a small orchestra with Patton as conductor. He still has that quality, with Fantomas more so than with Peeping Tom or Tomahawk. He is to me the most captivating vocalist to watch, not because he has flair or "stage presence" but because he makes himself into a instrument rather than a typical singer. He is truly amazing.
Been on a real Bungle binge lately.
California is best and S/T is also amazing. But Disco Valante is just a completely different animal however...reminds me of John Zorn.

I just listened to a great Trey Spruance interview this week. It's long, but worth the listen:

At only 55 minutes long, it’s a very fun & easy listen.

W/ Dave f’n Lombardo, are you kidding me???
Thanks, bud!
Trevor was teasing something on Twitter in recent weeks, i figured it would be some sort of vinyl re-release or something, especially considering what Greg Werckman was saying in that Vinyl podcast I linked a few weeks ago.
This was way more than I would have hoped for.
I probably don't have a snowball's chance in hell of scoring tickets, but I'm going for it regardless.
