"Hey, if God didn’t want me to wear it so much, he wouldn’t have made them rock so hard."
He liked them but wasn't sure what the hoopla is all about. No doubt they got their own thing going on.
But both are truly stellar pieces of work...if you embrace avant garde music.

I agree with that - the Letterman performance was intense. I also like track 1, I was a Lover. Good album. Different sound.

that letterman performace was what made me buy the album - i think they created some fans with that performance.

Does your CD have all of those extra empty tracks that are about 17 seconds long? My CD clocks in with 26 tracks, I believe, when there should only be 15.
Perhaps I got the mystery fuck-up copy...because it's truly bizarre!

But to answer dharma69 question my cd has 11 tracks on it...you must have a dodgy disk..haha
drives me bananas that bands do this.
My CD has 2 extra tracks and a re-mix of "Hours" (so 14 tracks total)...along with those ridiculous empty tracks. Just like you, transplant, they showed up on Itunes and on my standard CD player but not on Real Player.

If you are really intersted, look into their Young Liars EP, it has a very cool a cappella cover of Pixies' "Mr. Grieves" which is as interesting as it sounds.
oh and that elephant sound/sample is badass. dude.
After listening to it on my way home I bought tickets for their Philly show in April!
maybe i havent listened to the first one enough yet, but i cant really tell the difference between their albums. they both sound pretty similar.
anyway, i have return to cookie mountain and love it. im going to see them live in march. im stoked.
