post a youtube link, or similar, and if you can be bothered to explain why then tells us why you've picked those particular songs :) (good way to hear other peoples musical tastes as well)

might be 1 sad one, 1 happy one and 1 love one ... i dunno :)

my own (currently right enough)

http://nz.youtube.com/watch?v=m_mMzOQpe0I - Radiohead / Paranoid Android
http://nz.youtube.com/watch?v=I-Sm2bFS_Ms - PJ / Long Road
http://nz.youtube.com/watch?v=K3MJru1tfZQ - Black Math / White Stripes
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

  • Wow I think that's the hardest question I've ever heard, and I just took a quantum physics final where the average grade was a 28%.

I think I'd have to go with:

Pearl Jam- Faithfull Just seems kind of appropriate

Jeff Buckley- Hallelujah Again, appropriate, and one of my favorite vocal
    performances ever.

Radiohead- Weird Fishes/Arpeggi Overall sound and personal significance
"Ah, life is a gate, a way, a path to Paradise anyway, why not live for fun and joy and love or some sort of girl by a fireside, why not go to your desire and LAUGH..."

    Lodestar- Sarah Harmer
    Left and Leaving- The Weakerthans
"I try my best to chug, stomp, weep, whisper, moan, wheeze, scat, blurt, rage, whine, and seduce. With my voice I can sound like a girl, the boogieman, a Theremin, a cherry bomb, a clown, a doctor, a murderer. I can be tribal. Ironic. Or disturbed. My voice is really my instrument."

    -Tom Waits
  • On the Beach - Neil Young
Simple Twist of Fate - Bob Dylan
Always Look on the Bright Side of Life - Monty Python

    Life's a piece of shit,
    When you look at it.
    Life's a laugh and death's a joke it's true.
    You'll see it's all a show.
Keep 'em laughing as you go.
Just remember that the last laugh is on you.
    And...
Now I'm livin' out here on the beach,
but those seagulls are still out of reach.
