yeah, i saw em,one of the best shows i've ever been to! they played perfectly...one of thsoe shows i came out of thinking 'i gotta see them again!!'
    standin above the crowd
he had a voice that was strong and loud and
i swallowed his facade cos i'm so
    eager to identify with
    someone above the crowd
someone who seemed to feel the same
someone prepared to lead the way
  • I am kind of expecting it to be one of the best shows that I have seen. I'm not getting my hopes up too much though, but they seem like they would put on an amazing show.

I saw them for the second time on Wednesday in Seattle. You won't be disappointed. Hopefully they play Hafssol where you are at...the bassist taps on his bass with a drumstick. Awesome song.

Enjoy the show, the effort they put into their live show is complex. Transitions, lighting, visuals...

I have actually heard people i know describe them as the best live act they have ever seen. They are headlining one of the stages at a festival im goin to in the summer at the same time as the chilis. Prob go and see sigur ros because of what ive heard.
People say im paranoid. Well, they dont say it, but i know that's what they are thinking.

They are very good live. I saw them in a symphony hall and the sound was impecable.

    You will enjoy it.

seen them six times. You will never look at a live concert the same way. The audience is dead silent until they have to applaud etc. Its stunning. Enjoy.

I like it when they use the violin bow on a guitar. It sounds so good! :)

  • I'd say they are the single, solitary band that you could not possibly get your hopes up too high for. You won't be disappointed.

I think they might be the best band in the world. Its almost like a modern day mozart or something, just brilliant.

They're incredibly unique and that's partially why they're so good to see in concert.

Oh this is a different Sigur rós thread than I thought. Hell why not give them two threads, they deserve it.

I saw them in February. Amazing show! How about when the bass player uses a drumstick on his bass. That's pretty cool.

  • I would have to say that was the best concert I have been to. It is the one concert that I have been waiting for to just leave me speechless. From the moment they took the stage till the last song played I was completely amazed.

They played Hafssol, which totally kicked ass. I couldn't believe the amount of emotions I went through during that song along with the rest of the concert. I appreciate their music much more after seeing them live. They are a must see.

Yes I saw them in a small venue once. However it will be a festival if I see them this summer. Or maybe they will come soon anyway.

I listened to Ageatis Byrjun today. I wasn't that thrilled by it.

Maybe not. But I am fairly sure you would enjoy them live.
