IT'S A THURSDAY NIGHT SPECIAL IN THE BIG CITY!
July 24 marks one month since the first of two memorable Pearl Jam shows at Madison Square Garden. At this stage of the aftermath, as symptoms of withdrawal start spreading throughout local precincts of Jammer Nation, No Code: The Pearl Jam Tribute would like to issue the following advisory: we're here for you, fellow sufferers. The cure for the post-tour blues will be dispensed at The Red Lion during our venue debut. Come out and rock out for two sets beginning at 10:00.
Here's what you need to know to get to the show:
Date: THURSDAY, JULY 24, 2008
Venue: The Red Lion
Address: 151 Bleecker St. (at Thompson St.), New York, NY 10012
Map/Directions: http://www.redlionnyc.com

Sometimes bars will let you in if you say you're there for the music and won't buy alcohol, but will buy some other drink (i.e. soda). I did it quite a few times before I turned 21. You just have to be upfront about it.
Also, in the past I would sometimes call up a bar before, if there was a band playing that I wanted to see (before I was 21) and ask if it would be an issue for me to get in. At least this would save you the hassle of just showing up and not getting in. Try calling the bar's number from the website.
