I presume your well into the Nuggets style compilations Jeremy1012?
Full of amazing obscurities that never sold nothing.
The Nuggets 2 boxset is me fav.
I'm aware of the Nuggets albums but I'm not a particularly enthusiastic psychedelia fan. I like some, and I'm not opposed to hearing any music I've not heard before, but I've never paid a great deal of attention to the compilations themselves.
"I remember one night at Muzdalifa with nothing but the sky overhead, I lay awake amid sleeping Muslim brothers and I learned that pilgrims from every land — every colour, and class, and rank; high officials and the beggar alike — all snored in the same language"
That's all fair enough, and thanks for your genuine kind words. I am the first to admit that I take music very seriously, it's my passion. I don't really see why that's necessarily a bad thing though, people make a living out of this shit, god knows I'd love to. Music journalism would be a dream job of mine. As I said in my original post, if you want to poke fun, be my guest. Just don't imagine for a second that I won't retort passionately. I'm sure you'd expect nothing less
When I find out your ridiculous ways of spending time, I'll be sure to endeavour to mock you on account of them
i poke because i know you can take it and dish it back out
i like to think i'm just helping you out by getting you used to criticism. by all means, mock me when they are revealed. i can take it too

you may have it or just heard it however the No Thanks! box set chronicles that late 70's punk movement perfectly. Weirdo's are represented.

The thing with the Nuggets boxsets volume 1 and 2 being called
"Original artifacts from the first Psychedelic era" The music isn't really that psychedelic. It's mostly straight up garage rock n' roll. It's what inspired a lot of 70's punk.
The 4th boxset "Love is the song we sing" is more psychedelic.
